MetLife Global Innovation Challenge - collab 3.0 EMEA

March 16, 2018

MetLife Global Innovation Challenge - collab 3.0 EMEA is a global innovation platform that invites entrepreneurs and insurtech experts in Europe, the Middle East and Africa to scale their business.

Created by LumenLab, the MetLife Group's Asian innovation hub, the "3.0 EMEA Partnerships" project follows two successful previous experiences launched in Singapore (2016) and Japan (2017) that have attracted 350 project applications from insurtechnics in over 35 countries.

MetLife calls on Insurtech startups to compete for a $100,000 contract to develop solutions for inclusion in the insurance value chain, particularly in operations, sales, customer engagement and to launch pilot projects with MetLife's various subsidiaries in the EMEA region.

8 finalists will be selected through a rigorous selection process, alongside 8 MetLife employees selected to help them develop their solutions. To date, MetLife has signed more than half a million dollars of contracts through the Asia Collaboration Platform. These contracts are designed to develop practical solutions to increase the value of MetLife's customer experience and business.

The finalists will be invited to participate in the EMEA Summit and Demo Day in London, which will be held on 11 and 12 July 2018, to present their solutions. The winner will also be announced during the summit. The collection of applications opens today through the collaborative website and will close on 20 April 2018. To learn more or to participate in the project collaborate 3.0 EMEA is available on the site collab.lumenlab.sg.
